My name is Anthony Candela and I manage a boutique law firm in Tampa, Florida specializing in criminal defense and appeals.

I have the background and experience to handle serious felony offenses like murder or a traffic homicide, sexual offenses (like lewd or lascivious), child abuse, and narcotics trafficking. I am skilled in white collar crimes like theft schemes, insurance fraud, RICO, and embezzlement. I am proficient in handling bond motions (i.e., getting people out of jail pending trial), various evidentiary issues (like suppressing evidence), jury trials, as well as VOPs (violations of probation). My firm's small size allows for a more personal experience for my clients. I have has personally tried over 100 jury trials (as a defense attorney, never as a prosecutor) and handled several dozen criminal appeals. I am also a three-time Board Certified trial attorney in Criminal Trial by the Florida Bar (2008-2023). Board certified attorneys, like me, are considered experts in the field.
